The Junior League of Summit
  • Connects women committed to volunteering through service and social events
  • Trains women and further develops their skills to be effective leaders
  • Improves communities (and offers opportunities for others to do the same)

Social

The JLS enjoys a variety of social events, such as wine nights, book clubs, Oktoberfest and holiday parties.

Kids on the Block (KOTB)

Through puppetry, the JLS educates area elementary school children on social issues. Kids on the Block teaches children how to accept differences in others and themselves as well as make healthier life choices.

Grants/Scholarships

The JLS strives to affect positive community change by providing financial support to non-profit organizations and deserving students (pictured) in the area.

Projects

In addition to our continuing projects, the Jefferson Primary Center Learning Garden, the Thanks for Giving Baskets, and our Done in a Meeting projects, the JLS takes action in times of need. Members helped rebuild a home in Seaside Heights in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. (pictured)
