Second Time Around (located at 37 DeForest Ave in Summit, NJ) offers new and gently used clothing and shoes for men, women and children, toys, decorative items for the home, housewares and furniture. Second Time Around offers incredible bargains on quality items.
Opened in 1934, the Thrift Shop is owned and operated by the Junior League of Summit. All the items for sale are donated to the Shop by League members and the local community. The Junior League of Summit has returned over $3,000,000 to the community in the form of grants, projects, programs and scholarships. These funds are raised primarily via the Thrift Shop.
Ample free parking is available across the street. Donations are accepted only when the Shop is open. Please note that as of March 1, 2010, the Shop will no longer accept personal checks. Cash, Mastercard and Visa will still be accepted. Thank you.
